We lose our shit in Seattle when it snows and naturally, I'm thinking of leaving work and heading home so I don't have to deal with the whole drive home at rush hour ordeal. It's coming down thicker and heavier than what this clip shows but I'm just stunned. I just shot this a few minutes ago, this is the view from right by my desk at work.

This is what it looks like right now outside my window. I hate to say it since it's so pretty but I'm getting sick of this snow. I don't have a lot of experience driving in snow or icy conditions and since it's we've either snow or icy on the roads for about a week, I will only venture down to the grocery store about 15 blocks away. This is really putting a crimp into my plans for my day off tomorrow. I was hoping to go to Bellevue Square and do some "research" but it's looking like that will not happen. Oh well, maybe next week.
The Seattle area comes almost to a complete halt when it snows but I really love it when it does. I guess we're just not use to snow so we don't know how to act in it. Personally, I try to stay home when it snows, if it's just a dusting of snow. I had some errands to do today so I had to go out and about, although very, very slowly. When I got home, I took this pictures with my phone. I thought the walkway to my apartment looked so pretty with the snow and the yellow light.
